My bike gets covered in brake dust and road grime. What actually gets that off?
Gold Motorcycle Detail is built for exactly this. It goes beyond a wash and wax to break down brake dust and built-up road film on wheels, forks, and the lower frame — areas a basic wash skips. (Chain maintenance itself isn't part of any ST6 package — we recommend a motorcycle mechanic for chain lube and adjustment.)
Will your products damage my chrome or powder coat?
No. Every product we use on a motorcycle is chosen to be safe on chrome, polished aluminum, powder coat, and vinyl seating — the same care standard we apply to a car's paint, adapted for a bike's mixed surfaces.
Is ceramic coating worth it on a motorcycle?
If you ride year-round or store the bike outside, yes. Ceramic Coating adds long-term gloss and water-beading protection on top of the full Platinum package, and it makes bug and grime removal much easier after every ride.
What's the difference between Gold and Platinum?
Platinum includes everything in Gold plus a deeper polish pass on chrome and painted surfaces and a more thorough detail of the seat, tank, and hard-to-reach frame areas — it's the package most riders choose before a show or a sale.
Do you offer Paint Protection Film for motorcycles?

Do you come to me, or do I bring the bike in?
Both. We offer mobile service across Colorado Springs, or you can drop the bike at 512 Cooper Ave if you'd rather we work on it in the studio.

Do I need Ceramic Coating if I already got Platinum?
Not required, but it's worth it if you ride year-round or store the bike outside — it locks in the Platinum polish with long-term gloss and easier cleanup.
How long does a motorcycle detail take?
Wash & Wax is typically same-day. Gold and Platinum take longer due to the degrease and polish work — we'll give you an estimated timeframe when you book.

Chrome, powder coat, and paint all need different care — the process changes surface by surface, not just wash-and-go.

Pre-Rinse & Degrease
Wheels and lower frame get a dedicated degrease pass before the hand wash ever starts, so grime doesn't just get pushed around.

Hand Wash & Surface-Safe Products
Chrome, powder coat, vinyl, and paint are each washed with the product safe for that surface — not one all-purpose soap for the whole bike.

Polish, Protect & Inspect
Wax, polish, or ceramic coating is applied depending on package, then the bike is inspected for missed spots before it goes back to you.

A full hand wash of the frame, tank, fairings, and wheels, followed by a protective wax pass and a chrome and metal wipe-down. It's the right call for a bike that just needs a clean, protected reset.
Does Gold Motorcycle Detail include chain maintenance?
No — chain lube and adjustment require specialized products and should be handled by a motorcycle mechanic. Gold Detail does include a real degrease pass on the wheels and lower frame, plus brake dust removal from wheels and calipers and a detailed clean of the engine surfaces.
Is Ceramic Coating safe on chrome and powder coat?
Yes. Our Gtechniq Ceramic Coating is applied to painted and chrome surfaces safely, adding long-term gloss and water-beading protection without affecting the finish underneath.
Do you offer mobile motorcycle detailing?
Yes — we can come to you across Colorado Springs, or you can bring the bike to our 512 Cooper Ave studio if you'd rather we work on it there.
How far in advance should I book before a show or sale?
We recommend booking Platinum Detail at least a few days ahead so we can fit the polish pass in without rushing — same-day availability isn't guaranteed for the deeper packages.
